We took our time, letting Godzilla choose to come out of his tank when he was ready. Eventually, he started to come out to say hi and let us handle him. Alexis came to us as a pair with another tegu, David. She is quite the character. She can be quite sassy when it comes to feeding time. Do not ever try to wake her up when she’s sleeping. She enjoys her beauty sleep. When she hears us come home from work, she will start banging around in her terrarium until we pick her up and show her around the house. Once we have completed our ritual, she goes back into her area willingly so dinner can be prepped. She keeps us on our toys,
